So much is happening in my world lately.
First, Chris’s site has gone viral in the past few weeks and we’ve spent several hours each day just trying to keep up with the incoming links and messages. Did you see he was in the NYTimes? He was. I’m so proud.
But enough about my husband. Back to me. What has happened in the last month? Well, I turned 32, shipped a couple of paintings to a photo shoot for a magazine, went to Seattle for a visit, sold a few things on Etsy, joined a pirate crew, won a painting, and tried to figure myself out a bit more.
So now I’m finding balance. Whatever I do, I want to do it well. And I feel like I’ve lost my focus over the past couple of months. So I’m scaling back. My Twitter account will cease to exist beginning June 1. If you want to find me, then Facebook or the blog (here!) are your best bets. There’s also Etsy, and of course you can always call or email. And if all else fails, I’ll still be able to receive handwritten letters, too. I just decided that I need to make face to face friends and step away from the internet.
I’ve also painted a bit. And I’ve cooked up an exciting plan for a contest or two.
But my husband just reminded me that we’re on vacation. And that means my resolution to step away from the internet starts right now.
