Day 27

March 13th, 2010

Peanut Butter.

I’ve mentioned that I’m making a pie every week this year, right? This week’s pie was Peanut Butter Pie, with a chocolate crust. It was great. I can send you the recipe if you want.

Important tip: When making peanut butter pie, be sure to check that you don’t have peanut butter in your hair before leaving the house. Just sayin’.

Yep, one pie every week that my husband is at home. He travels a lot, so my goal is 26 for the year. The first pie was Apple Custard, then Banana Cream, then Coconut. By then I recognized the pattern and decided to work my way through the alphabet. Since then we’ve had Derby Pie and Egg Custard. This week was Frozen Peanut Butter Pie.

Gooseberry? Grape? (I’ve actually found some recipes online for these!)
Perhaps made as a fresh (ie. uncooked) fruit pie or tart?
And thanks for the recipe link. :)
